Truth and Freedom Home School Academy is a ministry of Truth and Freedom Ministries, Inc. in Decatur, Alabama. We believe that educating our children is the responsibility of the parents, and obtaining a Christian education is an absolute necessity in our society. The goal of Truth and Freedom Home School Academy is to provide an opportunity for parents to “train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22: 6)

Mission Statement
Truth and Freedom Home School Academy is a ministry of Truth and Freedom Ministries, Inc. which provides administrative support and encouragement to parents, as well as providing a resource for families to educate their children at home in truth and freedom in accordance with Alabama State Law.
Statement of Faith
We believe in the Holy Trinity. We believe that there is one and only one living and true God, our Creator and Redeemer, who reveals Himself to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. We believe that He came to earth as a baby, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, but He willingly gave His life on the cross of Calvary as the substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. We believe that God raised Him from the dead on the third day, and He now sits at the right hand of God. We believe that Salvation is offered freely to all who confess their sins and by faith accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. We believe that the Holy Spirit inspired men of old to write the scriptures, and we believe that every word in the Bible is true now and forever.
Curriculum
Be assured that God has equipped you as a parent to teach your child and/or children better than anyone else. Choosing the right curriculum is very important, and we will assist you by providing a wide range of curriculum resources. As a homeschooling parent, you are free to institute school policies that are in line with your personal convictions as well as tailor your curriculum according to your family’s individual needs.
Registration Requirements:
Registration and Enrollment Fees
Our Registration Fee is $150.00 per family per year, which is due on June 1st of each school year. A late fee of $10 will be imposed if the Registration Fee is received after June 10th of each school year. Any family previously enrolled with Truth and Freedom Home School Academy should submit their Registration / Re-enrollment Fees by June 1st. Call our office (#256-502-2612) to request a Registration Form, and we will be glad to mail one to your address. We accept checks, cash, money orders, as well as debit or credit cards.

- Current photos are now posted on our Truth And Freedom Home School Academy Page through Treal N Susie Peebles on Facebook. No Study Plan is required.
- Two Progress Reports required per school year.
- A minimum of 160 days attendance per school year (A school day must include at least 4 hours of instruction).
- Single/working parents welcome.
- Church attendance not required, however they must agree with our statement of faith.
- Outside instruction, such as instructional classes, taught by a designated person by the parent or guardian is accepted.
- No required meetings with parents. (outside of the Enrollment Interview)
- The registration fee must be received by June 1st of the school year, and a $10 late fee will be imposed after June 10th.
